Studies arrive from their modality source into the host PACS. From there, the images (and relevant comparisons if they are available) are transmitted using the same standards to Aperture Reports. Nothing upstream changes.
The report is prepared
A complete, properly organized report is prepared and reviewed by a board-certified radiologist before it is sent back to the host PACS.
